Any city bus ride in Tel Aviv usually costs 5 sheqels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_new_sheqel) and 20 agorot.
It's more convenient to buy this 10 time use ticket which costs 41 sheqels and 60 agorot. The driver punches a hole in the ticket each time you board a bus.
Punching holes made by drivers are of different shapes, some are like a plus (+) sign, some like a star, some like a key hole and some truly abstract.. :)

A typical bus terminal in Tel Aviv (Ramat Gan to be precise), A few platforms with small waiting sheds; some buses parked here and there, a bus time table and a lot of cars in neighboring car parking spaces… of course some ladies and gentlemen are waiting for the buses... :) See this place on a map
I used to read some book while the bus waits for green signal in Tel Aviv traffic. I forgot my book in the office this evening and ended up drawing the bus instead of reading the book... :)
