Used Bus Ticket (for 10 DAN (www.dan.co.il) city bus rides in Tel Aviv)
8 July 2008.
Any city bus ride in Tel Aviv usually costs 5 sheqels (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_new_sheqel) and 20 agorot.
It's more convenient to buy this 10 time use ticket which costs 41 sheqels and 60 agorot. The driver punches a hole in the ticket each time you board a bus.
Punching holes made by drivers are of different shapes, some are like a plus (+) sign, some like a star, some like a key hole and some truly abstract.. :)

Portrait of Anoop, my friend and colleague, and only companion in my “Vagamon” trip in 2007.
10 May 2007
I was fascinated by paragliding and was looking for any opportunity to try it..
We heard about a paragliding camp in "Vagamon", Anoop was the only one kind enough to accompany me on that hastily arranged trip.
I woke up at 4 AM, picked Anoop from his lodge, draw to the railway station and took the train to Kottayam.
We made this portrait on our way to Kottayam from Trivandrum in Venad Express (train).
Unfortunately, I was not able to fly that day due to lack of steady headwind (at least 15kmph steady headwind is needed for safe takeoff) and lack of willingness in the pilots to take the risk of a tandem flight in the poor wind conditions.. (may be they were right) :)
Despite this, the trip was well worth it, thanks to the exciting moments of seeing some paragliders taking off and also to the two portraits I made that day.
Hope I will be able to glide soon.. :)
